Nationally Recognized Adaptive Golf Instructor to hold Clinic with Return To Golf
The Northern Ohio Golf Association (NOGA) Charities & Foundation invites the community to join us for an adaptive golf clinic and open house on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at the Wharton Golf Center.
The public is invited to attend an accessible golf clinic conducted by nationally recognized adaptive golf instructor Anthony Netto, tour the campus of the Wharton Golf Center at North Olmsted Golf Club and, most importantly, learn about the Return To Golf® program’s life‐changing impact on the physically disabled community in Northeast Ohio. The golf clinic will begin at 4:00 p.m., with the open house continuing until 7:00 p.m.

We are pleased to have Anthony Netto visit the Return To Golf® program. Netto’s promising golf career was cut short by a car accident in which he suffered paralysis from the waist down. As a former student of engineering, he gathered together several of his peers and created the Paramobile which enables paralyzed individuals to actually stand in order to hit a golf ball. He later founded the Stand Up & Play Foundation, traveling throughout the country working with different organizations, community centers, rehabilitation hospitals and golf courses to promote active standing therapy programs for the physically disabled. Anthony Netto is the ex-trainer of the German Disabled Golf Team, acts as an consultant for handicapped golfers worldwide, and is the initiator of the KidSwing program.
Admission to the golf clinic and open house are free to attendees, thanks to the generous support of RPM International, Inc.
